New Phoenix 370z owner here
Hi, Matt here from Phoenix (actually Maricopa, home of the Nissan proving grounds)
Long time Nissan Owner. Just bought a 2016 base Z last month as an impulse buy while purchasing our new 2016 Altima SR. I have been into customizing for the last 29 years. I dont think I have ever had a car that I have not done something too, and apparently the Z is no different. Below are pics of the day I got it and now. So far Ive swapped wheels for some staggered 18's I had laying around my garage from my Maxima, H&R springs, spoiler, and ditched the nissan Hambugers for Z ones. Once I wear these tires out, I will probably go with a 19 or 20 inch wheel. I also did the clutch spring swap. I have been driving manual transmissions for 28 years and this car made me feel like I had no clue how to shift. there is a lot of great info on the board, and Im looking forward to checking it all out even more. Any other phoenix area Z owners ever want to hit the pavillions, me and my buddies usually go a few times a month Here are the New Nissans I have previously owned 1992 Hardbody 1994 Hardbody 2005 Titan LE 2012 Sentra SER Spec V 2012 Altima 3.5 2013 Pathfinder LE 2013 Xterra Pro4X 2014 Nismo Juke 2014 Maxima http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/s...psld29pker.jpg http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/s...psitpsh21s.jpg http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/s...psldky5fzy.jpg |

Though I dont do it for a living anymore, I still do paint and body work on the side. I was kind of the resident painter on another Nissan forum.
Here is a link to some of my work under "Matts paint work" there are sub folders of individual projects. Painted door handles anyone? Matts Paint Work by Mattq Wickam | Photobucket |
