New member looking to buy
I've owned one of just about every passenger Nissan for the past 30 years - except a Z. I've long wanted a 370z and I decided it's time to make this happen.
It needs to be a Sport specced car because it will be on the track multiple times each year. The leather and heated seats would be nice too. What I'm finding is that everyone is listing their car on average $3k over book value. Is that typical? Any reason to get a newer model instead of an '09. Thanks! I can't wait to get on the road. |

2012+ I believe is the year that most have had the issues ironed out + added an "Oil Cooler", the early years would have a steering lock problem and oil overheating in some cases, all manual version have a CSC failure issue. Other than that its a pretty solid car Welcome!

Definitely buy a Z. Specially if you already owned the entire Nissan fleet. Go for it. !

Welcome!
If I were you, I'd pay less attention to age, and more attention to mileage and condition of the vehicle. Going new is always fun, because you know exactly what you're getting, and what the car's been subjected to ... Let us know how your search goes!
