New Member: Test Drive car and fell in love
Hey Guys!
I'm Julian. 24 years old living on Long Island, NY. I've been looking at cars lately..trying to find something sporty to get into when my Accord lease is up. My past cars include 1996 Chevy Camaro, 1998 Pontiac Firebird, 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, and currently 2007 Honda Accord V6. After having 3 coupes, I went the the sedan Accord, and am itching to get back to a coupe. I decided to go to Nissan and drive the 370Z today. I drove a Touring model with the 7AT, with Sport package and Nav. WOW! I was blown away by how amazing the car felt, sounded and moved! I thought I was not going to like how small the car was, but I instantly forgot about that when I was driving. I went to talk numbers with the sales guy, and told him I was interested in leasing. They said these cars have horrible lease rates and I'll pay through the roof. He gave me some pricing $35k for the car leased at $716/mo!!! (with $0 out of pocket) My jaw dropped.... So I'm here to learn more about these cars and find out about getting the best price. I really want to lease because I hate buying cars, but I cannot afford those insane lease rates. He said the residual was 51% so I'm not too sure how things got so high... But I'm not ready to purchase so I didn't push the issue too much. I really want to get one of these cars!!! I can't wait to learn more here at this forum! |

While shopping initially I was told $600/mo for a Base 370Z on a 39 month lease or so. If you're looking to lease a G37 might be more right for you. Also, since you have a sedan you're probably used to having at least some back seat.

I'm not in a rush so I'll keep my eyes open for a good deal, but I know one may not even come around... |
2009 370Z Touring Auto 36815 msrp sold at invoice (34096) comes to 577 per month before taxes. The money factor (lease rate) is pretty high, it works out to 7.5% in interest. The G has always leased better than the Z
