2015 nismo
 

Hey gents,

After much debate between a used m3, frs, the Z came out on top. Then it came down between 2014 or 2015 nismo, which was an obvious pick since the dealer didnt give much of a discount on the 2014s and the new Recaros are worth about $6k a piece. Which makes you think...if you were a total track junky you would just buy the 2015 nismo, sell the Recaros get some cash back to put in your own bucket seats, and it would be like getting a nismo for the price of a base 370z. Doesn't make much sense amirighttt??

But back to the car, prior to this I drove a Cayman S 987.1 and I must say theres something about the Z that's just more raw and not as refined but a more exhilarating drivers experience than other imports. Anyway, I look forward to learning a lot from this community and nice to meet you all!

Nice color the Recaros are indeed stellar, surprised you chose this over the E92 however. what part of LA you from?

Love those seats, but 6k each...not a chance, unless you order then from Nissan but that even seems high.

Thanks for the welcome guys and yeah 6k does seem ridiculous but thats what dealer quoted me, seats top cushion and bottom are sold separately come out to like 3.5k, then plus racks, turn knobs, air bags etc and tax..guess they didnt want ppl just buyin them seats separtely

yeah the e92 is a beast but i think ive always been more of a jdm kinda guy..but then again..a man can change haha:driving:

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the beautiful purchase on the nismo. Those seats are so comfortable its like you want to tell the salesman after a test drive that you do not want to get out.
