Go 18" if it's your everyday drive car less cabin noise below 3500 rpm you will bot lose the full noise effect. I got my FI 12" love it but yes noise cabin is a bit louder "not cool for hands free call lol" but as far as FI all over sound and quality..they are simply the best in my book..

My case, I took my car to the dyno (DynoJet) with just the Stillen Gen 3 CAI and stock exhaust and got 295whp. When I got Fast Intentions non res HFC with 12" res CBE on the same dyno, I got 322whp with Uprev tune.

Considering you have to take the doors apart to apply dynamat to the whole car, wouldn't that produce rattling and be counterproductive?
I'm tempted to do this myself, but am not so sure about the doors - last time I had a door taken apart to re-paint a car, it never sounded the same again :-\ |

Non-resonated are not that bad. You can't beat the sound up in the RPM range 5500 and up. I can still listen to the radio and talk on the phone with no issues cruising at 78mph on the interstate. It's a little loud at first but not bad at all. You really have to be in it hard for them to be loud.
