So if the stock air intake is a closed cai drawing air from the front of the bumber would replacing the ribbed tubing for some smooth tubing and droping in a higher flowing filter give decent gains? If the ribbed tubing does restrict and disrupt flow then I would think that a smooth tube would help. Is there something else that these after market intakes are doing that Im missing? Thanks.
