FI TP with stock exhaust was too raspy for me. I still wanted a stock look, so I bolted up a Nismo exhaust. Great sound, best power gain for the $.

So when you went to the Nismo exhaust it eliminated the rasp?

Cold starts around 2300 rpm it can hit a tinny note, so I throttle around it. I was looking for a little more power and a good tone without being too loud and obnoxious. I prefer a good balance between the howl of the motor and the roar of the exhaust.
