A helmholtzs is a off branch resonator. If you can afford it, go for it!
im not quite understanding what a helmholtzs is.. what do you mean by off branch? also does ti give more power over others?

What do you think about the motordyne shockwave cbe?

Ti doesn't give you more power. It just lightens your wallet.

LTH ending in open pipes out each side would probably make the most power.

That said, this is obviously for a daily driver, so whether or not you care about emissions, if the db's don't attract cops, the horrible rasping and hisses will annoy you to no end...

If you want max power, little concern for db's, but don't want it to sound like a tractor I recommend PPE LTH, an H pipe with OEM Nismo diameters, and straight, open (but resonated) pipes all the way back with no muffler.

Changing the OEM diameter, especially just after the headers, will net a bit more power but the wooshing and rattliing will drive you insane in a week.

There's a mufferless H-pipe to straight pipe kit out there like this, but I think slightly bigger diameters, so it might be raspy, and you can buy LTH's from a few places although I recommend PPE.

Good luck!

thanks for the info i really appreciate it. Yes its a DD in the summer and its put away for the winter. i could careless about emissions. I really want to get the PPE LTH so i think that's what im going with.. Now for exhaust. I don't think i want to go with straight pipes as that would be a little too load. i really like the hks hi power cbe and motordyne shockwave cbe (just don't know what to go with.) know i don't know what would be better an h-pipe or an x-pipe someone up top had said that an x-pipe would be better over h. Im not sure.
