Actually, I think you read this one backwards. He was saying a short ram benefits someone with less mechanical aptitude.

Do you know what the IAT's would be with coldair intakes I logged a run with my set up and say temps at 15 and fuel temps at 11. AN have zero clue what those mean.

Not sure how you're seeing IATs of 15 degrees F. Was that in Celsius? IAT's will be a few degrees above ambient when moving.

The actual formula is (9/5)*TempC + 32 = TempF. Except for easy numbers that 9/5ths typically requires a calculator. I just substitute 9/5ths for 2 and it makes the math simple and gets you in the ballpark

That is not what I meant. Chuck has the mechanical ability and I was referring to the folks that don't. My apologies for it sounding the wrong way Chuck.
