Anyone had this happen?

Noticed this today. Not sure how long this has been the case but has anyone else had this problem? Any idea what part this is to replace or damage that

That is the factory oil catch can The main issue is you are sucking in unfiltered air. You can probably find one easily from someone who has gone with a CAI.

You're not the first one. Pretty sure you can't buy just that part from Nissan. It is part of the intake tubing. The part number is 16576EY00B. Like DR said, you might find it from someone on the forum who has replaced their intakes with a CAI.

Thanks for the responses. I wanted a CAI anyway so I'll just used this as motivation to order now.

That happened to someone else a long time ago. Another poster told him to go to the local hardware store and buy a pvc ell to connect the two ends.

I removed those pieces when I did my R2C install. No issues in ~40K miles
