New long tube headers for our cars

sooo i haven't seen theses before. they look promising tho. dyno and track proven performance out of the box, and ceramic coating available. am i just late to the ballgame on these?

hmmm seems interesting. not sure if this is old or something new.

DEpointfive0 09-24-2014 01:16 PM

Looks new, but ghetto as well

edub370 09-24-2014 01:17 PM

idk, i actually kinda like the look. for the price they are a nice way to bridge the price gap between PPE and OBX headers

The way they slipped bigger piping where the pipes join is ghetto. It'll work, but it looks ghetto.

technically if they work well then who cares about the look? they are tucked up under a low car lol only person who sees them is you and your mechanic (if you use one).

i'm more curious as to the 23whp gains and what the diameter is.

I agree... BUT if they're going to take the easy bullshit way out, their headers better cost even less.

23 WHP gain for ANY LTH doesn't surprise me. Most test pipes offer like 15-20 WHP of that gain anyways

agreed.

plus it then drops into dimisinishing returns for most of us anyways who are already modded.

seems to be a slightly cheaper, less quality, in stock way to go intstead of waiting for FI LTH's

edub370 09-24-2014 01:58 PM

wonder what the gains would me going from test pipes to these.. we talkin like 8-10whp tops?

probably not even.

maybe 2-5whp.

the majority of gains comes from the removal of the cats which test pipes do on their own.

synolimit 09-24-2014 06:15 PM

I gained this with my obx header. I'd invest elsewhere.

edub370 09-24-2014 06:31 PM

was that Gain over the stock exhaust?

Agreed. This looks like a well built rip off of the original. FYI, I'm sure these are better than FI's headers in terms of design, they look just like PPE's. PPE's are top notch... And expensive.
