Berk HFC Motordyne e370 cbe and Stillen gen 3 intakes

with those mods ..how much gains and what numbers should i expect to see with n uprev tune . also does an uprev tune actually give extra power like a chip or does it just tell the ecu what mods u have? also i have a stillen oil cooler if that helps

Zbrah 09-12-2014 12:13 PM

Expects 1996 hp, oil cooler adds another 17.46 hp.

No tune 310-312 WHP/ With tune 310-315 ? WHP but your power under the curve will be much higher +18-22 WHP, WTRQ will increase there also. UPREV remaps the stock ECU with new fuel, timing and AF targets.

You wont see big up top gains , Down low and midrange will be improved .

Ok and is an increased rev limiter a part of the tune or do I HAVE to have it as a separate map. And cam it be removed or only increased

Only raise the rev limiter if you're comfortable with the fact that the oil pumps come apart at high rpm.

Also, the reason you see different numbers is that no two cars are exactly alike. Dynos vary. Conditions vary. Elevations vary. Accept the fact that you'll have to settle for a range of numbers as an answer.

I just installed Berk HFC's, Motordyne Shockwave E370, Stillen Gen3 Intake a couple weeks back. I'm getting it tuned at RAD tomorrow... I'll post up numbers on my build thread. This should help you with numbers to expect from an UpRev tune and those mods. :driving:

p.s. This combo sounds great!

ok so are u saying that raising it isnt for everyone and that it could be harmful depending on the way i drive? is it included automatically when u go to uprev or is a rev limiter increase a separate map

Yes and raising it really doesn't yield WHP from what I've seen anyways.

The tuner will in most cases raise it only a few hundred RPM I think mine is at 7800 now but I'm NEVER up there so forgot.

jamesj1996 09-12-2014 02:03 PM

yeah true im almost never up there only if im pulling against someone for fun.

Chuck33079 09-12-2014 02:18 PM

Only raise the rev limiter if you have the funds for a new motor. You're playing with fire.

ANMVQ 09-12-2014 03:08 PM

I don't even run up there when pulling( Dyno yes) driving no, shift 75-7600

jamesj1996 09-12-2014 03:53 PM

yeah true
