Has anyone modded the stock boxes? When I had my (B5) S4 the was a stock air box mod where you a cut the bottom of the box off- part

modded stock intake box?
Has anyone modded the stock boxes? When I had my (B5) S4 the was a stock air box mod where you a cut the bottom of the box off- part that faced the wheel well- was wondering if this would be something that we could do and pick up some HP was was cleaning my KN's yesterday and was noticing how small the intake boxes port was?
