Anyhoooooo. Just get the Stillen if you want intakes. Don't waste your time reading about it.

The stock exhaust also kills throttle response.

I'd buy them used if you buy them at all.

You'll come very close at a fraction of the price (and considerably greater ease of installation and cleaning) with smooth tubes plus high flow panel filters.

Hahahahahaaaa!!! I'm sorry I'm one of those guys bruh... Lol. I was a stillen intake junkie. But on this forum I read so many positives about drop ins with the silicone intake hose. With just that and a straight pipes. (No second res). I had torque increase throught the revs. About 6hp and 4lb of tq throughout the range. Doesn't sound like much but it increased my throttle response by 100%. So my Z is running like it gained 15/20hp. It helps to have larger gauge electrical wiring running from the transmission (ONLY WORKS ON AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS) And oil/transmission coolers. My Z's performance is much better than my 09 and my mods thus far are minimal I have this, stereo and suspension mods. Stillen gives an 18hp boost but @ 5200rpm you're losing Hp/tq from 0-4600rpm. This car doesn't have enough Tq to lose power in any rpm.

Have the money to FI it now but am waiting to see if I want the Z35 instead. If it comes stock with turbos? It will be cheaper to mod a nd more fun to drive my instinct tells me.

Hold on to your bills. The z35 will have the VDETT.:tiphat:

They make a great sound so you will use more gas just to hear them. I love mine.

I've heard some people had better experience/gain with Injen and/or Takeda. I went with Takeda because it requires no cutting, easier installment, $100 cheaper, and produces identical, if not better, gains.

How was it easier and can you post a photo of the installed intakes?

Stillen intakes

i have a question about the Stillen Intakes. How much does it improve performance, How much $ to have someone install it and warranty it , does it effect your new Nissan factory warranty and is gas mileage better or worse. Thanks

I wouldn't buy the Stillen Gen 3's again just for the price ! I had Takedas also made the same power and 100$ + less in price. You can get the Takedas for 365 Shipped. ! You cant get the Gen 2's used for that forget about the Gen 3's. Reason I also have drop INs and Z1 tubes, and looking at ram air ducts to the stock boxes :)
