Ranting about the ark
 

well just got my ark grip installed.
is it just me or do you just feel powerful after hearing that roar!
that purr... that 4000 rpm roar.. wow

good thing gas just went down to 3.85 or ill be poor as a bum after driving my baby

I just got mine installed a few weeks ago. To me the sound is just amazing. Sometimes I drive around in second or third gear just for the hell of it. Got I love it!

I love that I can drive and be quiet when I want, but then open it up and listen to her sing the song of the Z

Ohhh ...sh!+ dont get me started on this i live in nyc, fuel 93 0(+@!π€ hasn't been $4 for years.

Congrats! I can't imagine anything other than ARK, I love mine, I've had it for about 6-7 months in my 2012 and I can't get enough of it. It makes the entire car better, it even shifts better, both up and down, the engine runs much smoother.

in california gas prices recently went down from 4.25 buddy..
that restricted me from doing long drives for a good couple of months..
but now? WOOP WOOP! :happydance:

i swear i couldnt have chosen better. this by far is the best sounding exhaust for me. ive heard alot of exhaust sounds but this is just on a whole new level of beautiful noise haha

most definitely when cops are around.. just short shift til 6th and youre good hahaha
and the drone.... theres almost nothing hahaha but outside sound is powerful at 3-4k rpm

I get mine installed Tuesday. Can't wait. Tired of the stock sound.

Wait till you Pair it with the ARK HfC or test pipe!

A little bit of exaggeration there...lol but it does makes the sound even more solid and less rasp at high revs.

The price is worth every cent.

Do you have to have your engine retuned after installing the ARK ?

I do not think you "have to". I have not yet will be doing it after I do my CAI mod. When you put in a "good" cold air kit you could mess up you air/fuel ratios and lean out the car too much. You don't want that.

As with most cars, tuners can squeeze I few extra HP out of a stock. Is a few HP worth $500ish dollars for just an exhaust? Up to you really.

I have the Ark on since March and I love mine!

Just got it installed with Berk Hi-Flow cats. Wow! HUGE difference. It's also louder than I was expecting due to all of the comments on the exhaust in my research. Most people say it's quiet for an aftermarket exhaust. Wtf? :icon14:Thing is fairly loud. Might be the HFCs though. Not sure since I put them on at the same time. Will post my iPhone sound vids I took after I record the Ark. So much happier now though. Car sounds gooooood.

I would guess it is the high flow cats. That reason I didn't go with them this time... I did that on the last car and found it annoying on long drives. But I'm sure it sounds awesome when you open it up!

However, on a friends Z with the kinetix hfcs, it remains fairly quiet and sounds just a bit louder compared to mine with stock cats. Either way, still sounds :yum:
