If you REALLY want aggresive and loud, run longtube headers on their own, no exhaust. That will definitely turn heads :bowrofl:

Soooo your exhaust is basically straight pipes? Therefore the only thing FI about it is that they made you an exhaust, and you cut out their mufflers.?

incorrect. yes it is a striahgt pipe set-up. it is all FI parts except i had a muffler deleter rear section made with FI tips. not knock offs or random tips. actual FI tips. its just a straight FI exhaust. fully interchangable to put the original FI CF mufflers back on. which are on right now since i had to get the car inspected last week. takes 10 minutes to swap them out.

Tempestz 08-06-2014 11:55 AM

Well that's what I was saying. It's all just pipes. But im all about easy exhaust changing. That's why I went with garageline xpipe/midpipe. It's stock mounting locations will allow me to easily swap out any axle back I want.

my exhaust literally took 10 minutes to put the cat back system on in all together. it also needed zero adjustments tfor fitment. the test pipes took a little extra install time due to the demon bolt but blame nissan for that.

i changed nothing that came from FI. just took the rear muffler section off and added a non-muffler section in its lace. matching steel, flanges, and everything else.

Soooo you have a 12-1500 $ mandrel bent straight pipe from headers back?

vividracing 08-06-2014 12:04 PM

I think what hes trying to say is, you took everything off that made your FI exhaust an FI exhaust.

Tempestz 08-06-2014 12:05 PM

Yes. ^^ exactly.

yea i guess i do. also with carbon fiber mufflers when i need it tame or inspected.

still a lot cheaper, more powerful, better looking, and better sounding than the meister, armytrix, or tomei.

worth every penny :tiphat:

i took off the mufflers.......not sure that less than 1/3 of a system makes it not that system.

i suspect you two ride the same short bus possibly.

Tempestz 08-06-2014 12:09 PM

I disagree. The GTHAUS is still my favorite sounding exhaust. But it's all opinion. So it doesn't matter.

you say that but sure do have some opinons on mine i see.

Tempestz 08-06-2014 12:16 PM

I actually have no opinion on yours. I actually said it was cool your exhaust was Interchangeable. I was genuinely curious was all. And I never said anything negative about it. Only that I still think GTHAUS (in my opinion and others) still sounds better.

vividracing 08-06-2014 12:19 PM

I understand that you took off only 1/3rd of the system, but its the 3rd that sets one system apart from the other. Straight pipes that an exhaust shop welded up arent going to sound any different than what you have. Its just bent tubing
