the stock intake and the stillen g3 might share the same ID but the stillen has better laminar air flow and 2 quite big air filter which reduce a lot the restriction of pumping the air thru them.
its the same story when someone put some K&N drop in .. they gain in general about half than the stillen because the restriction of the airflow is less in those filter than the OEM ones. this is why I always recommended to make a custom CAI if paired with bored TB. |

I know in the previous post I said that I was done with the mods, but the line in your signature intrigued me. Obviously, I do not need all of the breathing mods, but perhaps a new intake and ported lower might be in order, and anything else that I am "missing"... |

Like a full HR upper engine build? Definitely not in the cards.

Might as well get it over with...

Sorry it was late and I didn't realize what I read when I posted. I know the ID of th g3 would be smaller than that of a bored TB. So basically without a custom intake that matches that of the TB, there wouldn't be any noticeable gains?

Soooo now that some time has passed anyone care to chime in on which manifold is the better option? The z1 or the motordyne m370?

Generally besides a CAI, other intake mods don't really do anything for NA setups. You might see small increased in the middle of the rpm range but that's all.
