The nismo axle back is quieter than this axle back. However the berk cats will help it with a louder volume. I'm waiting to pick up some art pipes, or find a good deal on Z1 headers and test pipes. To see how much more sound I would get out of it.
I think berk HFC with this exhaust would sound great however.

Well from my experience the garageline axle back is louder and deeper than the nismo axle back. Nismo axleback tends to get high pitched and raspy while maintaining the quietness with test pipes and a more free flowing midpipe. But everyone has their own thoughts and opinions. It could be a very good match.

I can't get rid of the nismo axleback I just installed it and got a great deal on it unfourently... Was upset today somewhat bc I tought it would be louder vs stock.. It's deeper for sure vs stock axleback but It got a lot quiter.. My goal is to keep the deeper tone with nismo axleback and berks HFC but give It a louder tone. |

I just ordered the X pipe and mid pipe. I have a Nismo axle back muffler so I can't wait to see how this feels

I think it would make it a little louder. But not by a whole lot.

I would if I were you. with this xpipe and midpipe you will have some sort of gain in hp and torque, where as with a resonator delete you won't make any gain at all, and resonator delete on the stock piping makes the stock mufflers a bit raspy. I say pull the trigger. Plus you won't regret it. I'm extremely happy with mine

Trust what this guy when he talks about the exhaust..he is very detailed and knowledgeable about 370z exhaust. of course everyone has different expectations about how there set up will work, but I believe he knows his stuff. I communicated with him several times and all my questions were answered honestly as bad as I wanted stock muffler to work..I feel the garageline cat back is the BEST set up.. The factory muffler is really not all that great being Nismo or standard. Trust me after being a 20 year Nissan tech,i have heard a lot of different set ups...my opinion...go with whole set up..if not enough...go with their test pipes..there is a reason they sell it as a whole set. A lot of work went into this system. Price is awesome and customer service is out of this world. Just saying |
