I have also, just installed the TopSpeed axle back and will upload the video of cold start and a few revs from it as soon as it uploads. its much Louder, and Drones a bit. So you will be able to hear the difference in the of the two Axle backs.
I prefer the tone of the Garageline Axle back to be honest. But I now have both and can with in less than 30 minutes whenever I want. I'm glad the Garageline exhaust has stock(ish) routing, it makes it much more versatile

Can you get a good video or picture look at how much the tips stick out with the top speed. I'm trying to find good pictures, but most are just from horror stories by people who don't know how to align the tips. I'd really appreciate it!

I LOVE the sound of this exhaust. It is relatively quiet so its perfect for those who are looking for a nice deep tone, and smooth sound without the over bearing sound, or drone. there is ZERO drone in this exhaust. The tips are perfect IMO. I recommend this to anyone. Butt Dyno approved as well. I am working on getting the dyno results for it. and will update this thread with the results.
**7/23/14** So ill introduce this saying the guinea pig car is my 2010 Sport Touring 7at 370Z. 100% stock. This is the second 370Z I have owned and the 4th Z I have owned. My other 370Z went through 6 different exhaust configurations. I am speaking with confidence in this product.
Review Item: GarageLine 370z Xpipe & midpipes only. **not their axle back section** Ordering was a very smooth transaction. I honestly had never heard of this exhaust until another member here mentioned it to me. *Roddy1*
Upon asking the Garageline owner about the X pipe and mid pipes he responded next day with prices on everything I wanted, and how much it would cost to ship to Hawaii. Shipping isn't cheap, but he gave me a great deal and even threw in some hood dampers with my order. And as I am writing this him and I are talking about getting the axle back muffler section and/or testpipes ordered as well. Im Very happy with his customer service.
Arrival of parts: Everything was packed very tight and neat. More packing peanuts weight than the exhaust weight.(figuratively) As well as everything being wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap. There was no damage, no scratches or punctures. Packing was great. Then I pulled out the midpipes. These were so shiny. I couldn't believe it. I then pulled out the Xpipe. Absolutely beautiful pieces of exhaust. Looks to be very highly polished and we'll put together. I was very impressed. I then started taking pictures of the exhaust. Inside and out. I took pictures of the outside bends, the flanges, the xpipe, the inside of the flex pipe, the inside of the resonators and where the X pipe meets so all of you can see what they look like and see that for what you pay for this combo, your getting a quality product.
Installation day: upon the first part of removing my stock exhaust (I have removed the exhaust on many of these multiple times.) It went quite smoothly. And everything was off the car within 20 -30 min Includingthe time it took to get the car on jack stands. Then I layed out the stock exhaust, and compared it to the new garageline pipes. Major difference. The 2.5" piping made the stock exhaust look even smaller than it is. The smooth bends of the pipe of the Garageline pipes compared to the stock exhaust was soo much better. The flanges are much thicker. The design is great. Putting this exhaust on went just as smoothly taking the stock exhaust off. If not easier. All the nuts, bolts, gaskets were included. Once everything was on I did the washer mod with the stock muffler to see how much of a difference in sound it made over the stock ypipe and mid. And it is crazy. I'll post the first start video. Then after doing that I re attached the rear muffler and the exhaust is now slightly louder and MUCH deeper than stock. I can most definitely feel a little gain down low and mid range. But not getting a tune until I finish the exhaust and Intake of the car. If you guys have any questions please feel free to ask. I am very happy and extremely satisfied with the choice I made. I hope it helps some of you make yours up as well. This was a great experience and the product is absolutely awesome.
The Topspeed set up sounds really good. I had their cat back on a 2012 z and loved it. Little louder than I prefer, but great gains and very unique sound. Great job on the vids!

Thanks!! I really like it too. I have pictures for the tips sticking out and all that Jazz. And accel, wot, and revs video. Just have to wait till I get back home to upload them. I have very little service at work. But for quick reference. The tips stick out, compared to the 370z stock key fob, exactly half of the key fob when I put the top of it against the bumper.

Do exhausts "settle in?" Because the car sounds even better now and it's even faster! I love driving my z even more now for real lol

I have noticed the same thing with my garageline cat back. From my understanding the muffler uses a glass packing or something similar. I noticed the first day after revving the engine a few times there appeared to be a insulation fiber type material coming out of the exhaust. After driving a few hundred miles the exhaust sounds a little more throatier and louder... I love the sound and tone...again... not to loud but perfect for me...
If I am incorrect about the muffler packing please correct me...but that is my understanding..
Thanks..Tim

I too have had experience with the muffler getting a slightly louder tone the more I drive. I have experienced this on many other mufflers on different cars as well. It is something to do with the type of packing used. But that's about as much as I know about it but it does seem to get louder, however little it may be. But I don't think it will get much louder. I have 2k miles on mine now. And I love it.

Installed the garageline x and mid with a nismo rear as a temporary package today I have to say nice piece from garageline that has to be the best bang do the buck I've seen. Only problem is its way quiet deeper tone but so quiet my wife's gonna want to drive it

The quietness is due to the nismo muffler. The nismo rear muffler is still very restrictive and still had to meet stock standards for a car. If you get a different axle back, it will open it up quite a bit. If your not looking for loud but you want a little more volume definitely get the Garageline axle back. It is a great choice. Some here chose the GTHAUS axle back. I myself have the topspeed axle back right now. And there are many more to choose from. Glad to hear you like it. It is a very nice piece.
