Mine has been off since install because when I was doing it late night, I didn't want to take a grinder to it and wake everyone up. So I just took it off completely and sand papered the area where it was hitting so I knew where exactly it needed to be ground down

As I stated earlier, my brace was bent around the piping. This is so we retain more rigidity as opposed to shaving the brace.
