Manzo Exhaust

Looking at getting a Manzo exhasust for my Z. Any of you Z owner currently have or have buddies that have it installed? Would love to hear your views/opinions.

aszyd 07-06-2014 05:20 PM

I don't have one, but the two models that they are selling look identical to other products on the market. Their V1 exhaust looks like the Top Speed Ti-Look exhaust, and their V2 exhaust looks like the Beluga Racing cat back. I'm not claiming that these are copies, it just seems like many "brands" are buying exhausts from the same manufacturer and slapping their name on them.

The fitment is probably OK and you could probably look up sound clips from the other brands and have the same expectation.

kenchan 07-06-2014 05:24 PM

who?

When you google it, THIS thread comes up.

OP, don't cheap out. And there's no y-pipe. Might as well buy Top Speed Pro 1 if you want to be cheap.

I appreciate that info ASZYD. Don't want to be cheap, but don't want to pay over a grand for an exhaust when I have interior ideas that I have.

DEpointfive0 07-06-2014 07:15 PM

Wait for a quality used exhaust

Maybe you should focus on your interior ideas first then. Seriously, don't cheap out.

enkei2k 07-06-2014 09:06 PM

umm.... 550 for a stainless steel exhaust that has fake titanium tips?

Nissan 370Z 2009-2012 Z34 3.7L V6 VQ37VHR LHD Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust System

or 350 for a basic one?

Nissan 370Z 2009-2012 Z34 3.7L V6 VQ37VHR Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust System Ver.2

All I can say is that it's ridiculously cheap for what it is and 'you get what you pay for'

Zoren 370 07-06-2014 11:19 PM

I think this would have been a down grade from the OEM exhaust!
Might as well stick with your Oem it will serve you better.

I agree with you, but the washer mod is more respectable than that exhaust

I respect your opinion and possibly valid!

Now my question is would you personally bet your $550 on this exhaust and put it on your Z?

FlyByGTI 07-07-2014 12:55 PM

Reading the comments on the price etc. OP I would like to remind your aftermarket options

FAST
CHEAP
RELIABLE

You only get to pick 2. Choose wisely

memphisz.exe 07-07-2014 08:29 PM

Update: Going to get a good deal on a Fast Intentions exhaust. I like the deep tone of it so it sounds like my kind of exhaust! Thanks for your opinions fellas!

Zoren 370 07-07-2014 08:35 PM

Congratulations! You finally saw the light!
Therefore we dont have to hunt you down and kill you! Just kidding.
Best choice FI exhaust although mine is ARK equally formidable brand!

But buy American helps the economy some how!

Whew glad you decided to get the FI.

I had serious doubts about any exhaust manufactured by a "Ristorante"

Zoren 370 07-07-2014 09:19 PM

chii370 07-07-2014 09:49 PM

buy a used ARK or FI then if you dont wanna go over a grand. you will regret buying a cheap exhaust.

No I would not, but best believe I would take it over the stock exhaust any day. The stocker is GARBAGE.

DavidZ370 07-08-2014 03:41 AM

its so bad people wont even take it for FREE LOL

EVEN ANDREW

They munufacture bull sh!t.

Tadpole 07-14-2014 09:06 PM

It's just pipe and weld guys. Don't be stupid to think spending a ton of money will make your exhaust better because of cost.

That depends on a lot of stuff...

People are paying for more than just welded stainless when they go for a known good exhaust. They are paying for perfect fitment, vendor support, quality pipe / coating / muffler packing, etc. The fact that some exhausts are made here in the US or Japan also means something to their respective buyers. No one really knows anything about these random Chinese / Taiwanese exhausts, or the companies behind them. The buyers are saving money, but also taking a risk. What if the exhaust was welded incorrectly, will he or she get support from the vendor or company when things go wrong? If it all works out, wonderful, but what if it doesn't? Some people would rather spend more money for peace of mind.

hey, hey now! its china SS but its still good looking SS after a winter.

Tadpole 07-15-2014 05:38 AM

To pintsize. Meet me at the drag strip and I'll show you what a custom dual exhaust can do. No need to ride in your Z. I already have one.

ANMVQ 07-15-2014 02:17 PM

no resonators " LOUD!!

Tadpole 07-22-2014 10:50 AM

Like I said earlier, there is no need to spend a ton of money for an exhaust. A good local muffler shop can get you a true dual exhaust with resonators to the axle backs for 300 bucks with perfect fitment and will fix any issues if they arise. Unless you jack up your car no one will even notice your $2000 exhaust system you have unless you tell them and in all reality the exhaust just does one simple thing, air flow movement. The less bends you have the better and galvanized steel has been working for years. So peace of mind will make the exhaust system better? Don't think so because if you did have issues you would be at the exhaust shop anyway fixing it

I beg to differ. People for sure notice my Tomei exhaust. The system itself weighs I think 47lbs less than stock and you can definitely feel it. There is no way a shitty press bent system for $300 will outflow a mandrel bent system. Plus press bent/galvanized steel looks terrible lol. Looks like someone just doesn't have the money to buy a legit exhaust ;)

Tadpole 07-22-2014 08:21 PM

Uh huh I'm poor. Get real but munch. I'm not into spending my money on just a name product that costs three times as much. There must be a reason you call yourself slowz. Sounds nice but you ain't getting anywhere. Meet me at the drag strip and I will show you what my cheap exhaust will do to your name brand and prove to you that you just wasted about a thousand bucks buckaroo. So you boys and girls toss your money into anything you wish but do not degrade those who cannot afford a premium exhaust as you call it or who really think it's a waste to spend that much on it. Hell, I probably make more money than you do.

Pintsize725 07-22-2014 08:58 PM

Girls, girls, you're both pretty.

SlowZ 07-22-2014 09:03 PM

If you make sooooo much more money than me then why did to you have takeda short rams that don't do much. You could have bought a used Stillen g3 for close to that price and achieved better gains. I also beg to differ your intake/exhaust Z will run down my full bolt on/nitrous Z on the strip lol. But ok
