Default Catless h pipe factory cats

hi guys i picked up my 09 370z 2 days ago. when i get my plates i have 14 days to do an inspection....the guy before me put a full invidia system on it catback and catless h pipe...the acura dealership told me that the stock cat would fit with the invidia catback...is this true...i dont have the money or the time to put the full exhaust on...then put the aftermarket on right after inspections...private inspections are sketchy but if i have to go that route i will

Not quite sure what you are stating but on a catback systems it's exactly that. From the cataletic back. Meaning the factory cataletic should still be there. Unless the guy replaced the cats with a test pipe you should be fine.

If you are referring to the resonators on the stock mod pipe that has nothing to do with passing a sniffer. You should be fine.. Best thing to do is take a pic underneathe the car so we can better assess what you are referring to.

yeah i he went catless i just dont know if its a test pipe or a hfc but pretty sure my catback is a magnaflow. what im trying to say is the dealership told me that the catback wont bolt up to the factory cat....i would have to put the whole entire stock catback on in order to bolt on factory cats for inspection .

Until you have a better idea of what has been done, you're shooting in the dark. Post some pics and those who are more familiar with the exhaust should be able to tell you what you need to know.
