There are other options out there. The consensus on here is that Stillen is the way to go. I didn't feel like cutting out a larger hole or the need to spend about $200 more for 3-5 horsepower so I went with the Takeda. Bottom line is it's your car, do what you want but if you're scared of the product before you purchase it then maybe do more research. You don't need a mechanic to install these, getting the bumper off is the hardest part of the install and that's only because it's the typical import hidden screws trick they always seem to enjoy designing.

No regrets at all, no rattling of any kind and I absolutely love it. Although if you are planning to go FI in less than a year I would say hold off. IMHO

Installed mine myself about 2 weeks after buying the car.
Love them. No rattles. Great sound and results. I'm a chick. Had no issues installing. If your shop is complaining about rattles.... take it somewhere else. |

I don't know if there's any consensus as to how much the drop ins give you. I got them and I don't know if I could notice any gains with my butt dyno. If anyone here is able to feel what 3-5 hp feels like then hats off to them, I sure as hell can't. I certainly didn't feel any losses.

I personally always went to Z1. The guys always took care of my car there and they are fun to just hang out with etc. In emergencies, when i couldnt get to them as they are 60+ miles away also, I would go to speed for sale who are also good folks. |
