Mine stick out quite a bit as well, about 2". I have gotten used to them but would still like to get them pulled in flush. I had a shop look at the exhaust and said he would cut the 2 strait single pipes and reweld at the flanges. There is enough hanger material to slide the whole system forward about an inch.
