Custom Short Tails for Fast Intentions Exhaust

I'm working on sound lol I found a mic to order but I don't know what I need to somehow mount it properly on my car by the exhaust. Never used a gopro on my car let alone a mic setup lol

I have a car mount for interior and exterior for the camera so that's a plus.

Someone hook me up with info on a mic setup and what I need. You will have video/audio by Monday lol

In the beginning with my set up it was wayyyyyy too loud. Even with just normal start ups and easy revs. The shop that installed it was surprised on how effin loud it was without any tp or hfc. The shop mostly installs F.I. exhaust since they're pretty local.

But with daily driving in 2-3 weeks, it did tone down alot. Im just really curious on how your set up sounds like! You should dyno it too if you get a chance.

yea my original set-up with non res everything and test pipes was loud probably right around where yours is since no cats/mufflers vs no mufflers/cats is probably similar.

this new set-up is seriously LOUD! i will do my best to capture it in the video to the best quality i can manage to get.

as for a dyno i probably wont spend the money to see no gains/losses or barely noticable unless i feel something has changed. if while testing this set-up, i feel that something is off either in a plus or negative way i will then dyno it to see.

....unless someone wants to put me on a dyno for some free runs then thats a different story lol

To really make it perfect cause I am a perfectionist, I would have the short tails polished just like the FI exhaust. I think that will really set it off!! But other than that I can't wait to hear this!!!

my FI exhaust is not polished. and i have CF mufflers well had lol. so to match my set up in front of these i left them unpolished.

sounds will be up soon enough gentlemen.

i mean i have a cell phone video but it does zero justice to it.

i have a youtube account with previous exhaust videos on it. i dont want to upload the one i took yesterday though. doesnt sound clear (think my hand was over the mic lol) plus ne traction due to 28 degree weather left me barely being able to get on it.....nor want the windows down lol

I was venturing this same project and Tony had told me that he thought it would sound awful. I am running an Fi exhasut with 12" resonators and FI LTH though.

I really wanna hear a video, bc I still want to do this. My car was stupid loud with the cans removed hahaha! Fast Intentions LTH and exhaust, no muffler - YouTube

me and tony had a similar conversation lol

i wouldnt say mine sounds "horrible" but some people who dont care for loud exhaust or just pure engine noise will probably say that its bad. i think it sounds pretty good for just straight pipes. its loud and sexy lol.

either way of it being good or bad in anyone's personal opinion i still wanted to make and try this set-up since day 1. now i have it and worst case for DD applications i can change it back to my FI CF cans in 5 minutes and 6 bolts lol

again thats why i made a whole new rear section with FI tips.

i got options lol
