The AAM Short tails. Incidentally, they're also among the most overpriced exhaust products out there: muffler deletes that you have to pay $500+ for.

That is misleading.

AAM short tails + headers + a midpipe = WAY louder than short tails alone.

He said without getting rid of his cats...

I doubt changing the mid pipe will change the loudness very much.

I didn't say you had to get rid of your cats.
Headers do not eliminate your cats necessarily, neither does a mid-pipe.

And yes adding the mid-pipe to the short tails will make it significantly louder. I have heard with my own two ears

Any headers worth doing get rid of the cats. Shorty headers on this car are a waste of money and time. It's long tubes or nothing, and long tubes get rid of the cats, hence his comment.

Alrighty, semantics

Loudest exhaust with stock cats..shorty headers, mid-pipe, short tails

OP asked about the loudest setup. Not what makes more or less power.

With the stock cats in place, shorty headers are going to make very little difference in volume. Where are you getting your info from?

That's just too loud. There was a member that did something similar and immediately took it off because it was just obnoxious.

I have AAM and I love them. They are loud and people will notice (also from miles away).
