I'd bet you lunch a pair of shorty headers on an otherwise stock 370z exhaust would increase in DBs at WOT under load. And it would only be further amplified by a midpipe + short tails. Exhaust components tends to be synergistic especially when it comes to scavenging and cfms. The thin wall tubing alone would add noise :) But...yes I would imagine that the long tubes are always going to be superior, stuffing a clumsy collector closer to combustion rarely makes power unless there is a snail attached to it, but OP just wants noise :P |

Take a peek behind the heat shield sometime. There's no "thick wall" metal in there. Shorties aren't gonna be measurably louder if they're going through the stock cats. |

I just ordered AAM short tails for 398 shipped from conceptz. I dont find that too expensive

One of these would definitely make your car have the loudest possible exhaust.

HAHAHAHAHAHA Ill show you in a week! lol

why don't you go for nice expensive tone instead of obnoxious cheap loudness like every other ricey civic out there. Seems like most new comers to the 370z are basically asking how can i be the biggest douche bag by stancing my wheels almost horizontal and whats the cheapest loudest exhaust they make.

Loudest exhaust set up out there?
loudest exhaust set-up? yea i got that lol
Do full straight pipes win? |
