topspeed/Megan racing axle backs and AAM Midpipe upgrade later or buy a full exahust
 

ok so im really torn between this, right now my muffler is blown and it drives me crazy driving down the highway, i know something happened because my car started droning at 2800rpm and it has a slight rattle(not really audible with radio on) and the thing is im one of those people who cant deal with drone(it physically messes with me, i get headaches, dizzy, ect.)

so my question is what should i do, get an axle back, and fix my problem now and later upgrade with AAM's Midpipe for a true dual 2.5in muffled exhaust, or should i save the money and get a full cat back system like Ark Grip v2 or FI?

both options end up costing about the same and both options give about the same power gains(the aam midpipe gave 22whp with the stock nismo muffler and FI and Ark gives about 20whp give or take) but if i went with the axle back option, i can get rid of the droning right away than upgrade the midpipe when i have the money, or i could have a full exhaust system but im going to have to deal with the droning for a while longer until i can afford to buy the exhaust

Ask a local to loan you an OEM exhaust

i have been trying but i daily drive my Z so the drone is really getting to me(if you havent been able to tell lol)

dont know anyone with an OEM exhaust though

The answer is obvious. Think Safety first Luigi! If you get headaches and dizzy while driving due to the drones, you shouldn't be behind the wheels until your problem is fixed.

I still have my stock exhaust that i can lend to you if you dont mind coming up to Anaheim to pick it up, just bring it back to me when you upgrade.

I have had that happen to me(while not with car parts, more with video games when growing up)

im still trying to decide what i want to do though, a lot of my friends are telling me to do the axle backs than upgrade since i can do it now and i will basically have a full 2.5in CHE after, but at the same time i would rather have a full CBE from the get go and now have noise only


really if i wasnt droning, i would dealt with the rattling and saved for the CBE but the drone is whats really messing with me
