Custom ported and CNC throttle bodies, upper and lower manifolds by Synergy Composite

And Megan, the screws for the plate you can tell are tightened down about 20% more then before which I can see from IPS polishing marks and Maxbore used red

Do you know how the dimensions of your bored tb compare to big tb from jun or mines?

Not sure. Don't have a spare $1600 laying around. The "big" TB off a DE is way bigger. But you'll never be able to use it on a 370 since you won't be able to bore out the manifold to the same size. The manifold will just be a big brick wall air runs into. Plus you need a new wire harnes etc etc. as for mines I doubt its much bigger. You can only go so big before you bore through the wall or weaken the wall and the hose clamp breaks the thing in two.

Appears mine is bigger then. Far as I can tell I went up 3.3mm to 63.1mm at its smallest size. Only thing different is only one side of my shaft is thinned out.

3.3mm should be interesting since I only went to 2.5mm overbore to stay safe. but some tweak were done at the same time

Hope you get the same or better result that I got 2-3 years ago

Looking forward to the results. I have the Z1 ported plenum so I'm curious to see what a ported TB will do

That's going to be tough to compare me vs you.

But maybe ill sell you my oem Tb's so maxbore can port them ad you can see down there. I know Z1 likes the higher STD correction factor.

Did you get the low profile shaft and screws for $35 more from max bore?

Well I think either way a TB that's ported going into a ported plenum could potentially see some gains with a tune of course. What was the final price for just the max bore and not the first company that you had them shipped out to? I don't feel like looking back 10 pages lol

potentially see some gain ?
hehe

let just pretend I didn't gain an average of 7-9whp which was proved twice back to back on the dyno couple year ago

edit , since you wont be doing a search , that was done with a custom CAI & bigger maf tube but there is some aftermarket intake that are even a bit bigger ( Nismo one I heard was like 2.75'' at the MAF ?)
and no ported intake manifold like it is now.

Could you recap which TBs these are; 350z or 370z? Also I'm really considering mimicking your TB build and pairing it with the Z1 mani (or GTR if a kit every comes out from a reliable vendor).

Would I be able to send my TBs to maxbore and have them produce the same product, what exactly would I ask for?
