Can anyone tell me what gains R2C claims for their intake system?

I've seen dyno sheets anywhere from 10-15whp

hey guys,I just joined this forum.I just bought a 370z and ready to get some upgrade such as reflash stage 1 Ecu and etc.I have less experience on 370z and wanted to ask for more opinion before i make the move.Which type of air intake is the best and what brand will recommended to buy?I want something that can get me slightly HP and less noise when the air intake taking.Opinions and comments will be appreciate.:icon17:

More air tends to equal more noise.

More air also less "low end torque".!

Personally, I have the Injen Long Tube Cold Air Intakes.

As far as the whole range, you can get a bit of a bump with less restrictive air filters, like K&N drop-ins, and it won't change the sound much.

You can get Short Ram intakes, but that's only a small bump and is louder.

The long tube CAI's give the most power, and they are also louder. I preferred Injen to Stillen, but only because the install requires only the replacement of the washer fluid reservoir, while the Stillen install is marginally more difficult.

My vote is for the Stillen G3 long tube intakes. They add power everywhere in the rev range, sound great, and look great in the engine bay. I chose Stillen as these intakes continue to show the best power gains out of all the intakes but you do have to modify the radiator core support to fit them. To me, it was worth it though.

this company did very well extracting HP from the DE motor which HATES intake mods...they said that they are testing out a design for the 370/ they sound awesome too...cant wait....this will hopefully be my intake soon

I stay at Malaysia and it's a hot country.So,which will be the best choice for me to mod?I heard cold air intake kinda many problems such as water go in or etc?As Chris said that Stillen G3 sounds good and many people recommended also...I need a air intake gain slightly HP on every Rpm because i am a city driver.

I went with HPS tubes and K&N drop-in route, very satisfied. It looks very clean and a good bang for your buck. Also, if you're looking for the best bang for your buck, search for ERZ HFC's.

Most CAI's have the potential to cause hydro lock if you drive on very wet days, because they tend to be low to the ground. So, just don't drive it over thick puddles and you should be fine.

I think that Stillen has the same potential for that, but I'm unsure.

Either way, I think that both products are great. :tup:
