K&N Drop ins are a simple mod and can net around 5whp. The K&N Typhoon intakes are also avail now and they claim 14RWHP from those HAI's! Not sure if that is the case though, but a simple bolt on mod never-the-less.

I don't know much, but that doesn't even seem right.

On the G3's I dont like the idea of removing the bumper to clean the filters. (I think the bumper has to be removed, correct me if im wrong.)

Yes for the longer intake tube like AEM, Stillen G3 and Injen CAI, you will need to remove the front bumper to clean the filter. It's not that hard to take off once you get use to it.

Wow. Didn't know that. I thought we only had to remove the bumper for the install. Still, the HP gains might be worth the hassle.

The best will be a toss up between the Injen and Stillen G3 intakes, both have their pluses and minuses but I believe that the Stillen intake shows the best peak gains at the moment. I have the Stillens and I love them in every way!

I don't why why people always bring up the matter of cleaning the filters off when it only needs to be done every 50,000 miles. That is a couple of years between cleaning for most people and it takes all of 30 minutes to remove the front bumper anyway.

And given the time to take them off, wash them and let them dry, removing the bumper is a very small part of the whole process anyway
