I ordered mine from THMotorsports.com for $1359.20 with free shipping. It was the lowest I could find at the time (all of January and February.)

yeah thats a pretty good deal. ARKs Tax sale has them under 1300 right now but they are normally over 1500 Its quality and sounds great. You have to pay to play when you have a nice car and want nice things for it But definitely completely worth 1300

My mind is already made on the ARK, very good feedback from many people! only concern now is fitment on nismo.. this is a never ending cycle haha, so difficult to make a decision

If you have an ARK GRiP cbe, i need your input!
I have the Ark grip exhaust on my nismo since January. No problems what so ever. I had the ARK TEAM put it on for me. It should fit with out an issue as long as it's placed by a pro.

Oh thats good to hear! so they didn't have to cut anything off to adjust the length, and did it clear the bumper? since the nismo is a bit longer than the regular 370z? and by a pro you do mean any exhaust shop right? i dont plan on doing it myself anymore

It is actually a very easy install if you do it yourself, a pro is not needed at all. If you're going to a shop, I'd go to a performance shop, or a smaller ma & pa shop. Those chains don't care about the details. I've seen the Ark Grip on a Nismo, and there were no clearance issues with the rear bumper.

Just a heads....I got the DT-S exhaust and had to take it to a garage cuz the holes for the bolts did not line up...called ARK and they told me to flip it over (they thought I had it backwards but the flanges won't line up if you did it the other way)....I had to take it to a garage to get the holes grinded wider for the bolts to clear and for the flanges to line up....The garage told me lots of the ARK exhaust have been having fitment issues with pipes lining up....and I just have a sport package non-nismo

The DTS is different then the Grip though. The Grip v1 did have some fitment issues. It has been long replaced by the Grip V2 Type2 which corrected all that (and sits higher). I had zero fitment issues with mine and I installed it in my garage.

I bought my v2 grip used off the forums from a part out... exhausts are something you can buy used and they work/look as good as new..as long as the previous owner takes care of em.
After I had mine installed, took it home..took a can of mothers cleaner and shined everything right back up to new. They sound great and have are visually very aggressive which is cool. |

Same here, just got my GRIP installed, I can't imagine going with anything different, GRIP is so perfect for the car, thank God I took my time researching, got it for $1275 from ARK in SoCal, I am local so they installed it for me, fitment was perfect, tips are perfectly aligned, quality is like no other. Good power increase, low-mid-top range.

Here is a picture. No adjustment needed what so ever. Yes just have a muffler shop do it. Most importantly make sure it is clear, to whomever is doing to job, that the canisters are aligned along with the exhaust tips. Other than that you should be good. |
