If you have an ARK GRiP cbe, i need your input!
what's up guys, i currently have a nismo with a muffler delete on the nismo exhaust (sounds amazing btw) but im the kinda person who likes to change exhausts every now and then.. i have been going back and forth between FI and ARK GRiP (i like the angled mufflers) but it seems like i've settled down on the GRiP since FI takes forever to get here and im not that patient
I just have a few concerns about the GRiP, i have heard that there are some fitment issues, especially on the nismo, has anybody had that issues or knows of someone who's having it? any help would be appreciated! thank you |

The only fitment problem we ever had at the shop is that sometimes the exhaust tips are not perfectly centered in the bumper, I'm talking about maybe a 3mm difference at the most.

I have the Grip exhaust on my 370z. Only issues I have had are as follows:
1. Didn't lift the resonator section before bolting everything together so it beat on the brace below the exhaust. I loosened it and put a jack under it to lift it while I tightened everything down again. Most likely my mistake because once I did this the issue went away. 2. slightly uneven tips in the bumper. I've tried every way to fix it without bending anything but it is difficult to line up with just one person. I highly enjoy the exhaust. It's got a great sound and little to no drone at cruising RPMs. Seems to be well built and has stood up to one season on the dragon already, plus the first day back this year. I will buy their exhaust for about anything I own. |

I have a nismo, and I installed the ark grip about a month ago. I went to Ark and had them install it since it's their product. They told me that some people have that same issue. Other than that their are no problems. It is a great exhaust not to loud and not to quiet. In addition looks great with the burnt tips, and catches a lot of attention.

I have a Grip but not the Nismo. I had no install or fitment issues, just take your time and make sure you jack up the x-pipe before tightening it down to the cats. Otherwise it can cause a rattle. Aligning the tips was a little difficult to do by myself, just be patient.
I love the sound of this exhaust, especially when you get on it. I wish the tips were more attractive like the FI, but it still looks great. I love the 'ARK' stamped on the cans. Make sure you take the time to align the cans otherwise the wording draws attention to the crookedness. |

The Grip is probably my favorite exhaust for the 370z. I personnally had over 5 diff exhausts myself and have heard multiple other setups in person.
Its got a really nice tone and makes a beautiful sound when you get on it, sounds great when your just cruising around town and also dies down to a low burble with no drone when on the highway. Its not loud and obnoxious, but its definitely audible and turns heads. |

Nice pic and vid! Hopefully i will order mine soon.
OP, i dont have an ark exhaust yet , but what i can tell you from a buddy of mine is that fitments looks perfect and the sound is aaamaaaizing, his exhaust is what made me decide between FI and the grip exhaust. He does have a base Z and not a nismo however. |
