also i dont have a log on that day, i dont run torque all the time but here is a log from DEC 26 the highest IAT i saw was 24C which is 75F and i saw as low as 57F(14C), not bad imo for something that sucks in 200+ engine bay temps all the time Zippyshare.com |

if your intake piping is 2.5in or within .25in smaller of it, you want to get their 2.5in filter |

stock boxes dont get to ambient temps anyways, the most they are at are 8 above from what i saw from previous logs like i said, im seeing the same data as stock boxes but the butt dyno says there is more power, i definitely noticed a difference in torque http://www10.zippyshare.com/v/87060050/file.html there is a log from the DEC 5, stock boxes and this was when it was close to 37 out iirc and the lowest i see is 11C(51F) |

Shows quite a bit more than a 3 whp increase here. |

What would be interesting to see is maf tubes over stock intakes on a car with other mods and than see the dyno. I doubt anyone will see more than 5whp on top of their current setup and that's being very optimistic(and even than 5whp is is like changing from a dirty filter to a clean one) |

Personally, I'd put the money toward an exhaust. You won't gain a lot of HP that way either, but it will sound better. ;) You're not going to see much in the way of gains with cheap, easy solutions. Nissan has already picked all the low-hanging fruit. |

i dont know what caused me to put the intakes back on my car with a different filter, i was just at o'rileys and bought the filters randomly and slapped everything back on my car either way when im done fixing my transmission ill be extending out the SRI into CAI since it costs less than $50 for me to do it, if you get the chance to id suggest you do that as well since its only gonna be better for the car anyways |
