Exhaust decisions
 

I am currently debating on which exhaust system to get, so far I have these in mind. Litespeed SS or Ti, Exoticspeed, Tomei Single Exhaust and also I'm interested in Ark Systems. I'm kind of leaning towards Ark DTS + Ark HFC but I just heard the Grip V2 is this the same as DTS? What is your opinion on Litespeed and Exoticspeed? The Tomei single exit exhaust doesn't look too bad either but if it sticks out a lot of the rear bumper I won't take it into consideration

Only single exhaust option for us is amuse. You might be talking about their 350z exhaust which would have to be modified to fit.

Also ark grip is a HKS knock off, whatever you do though stay away from CNT.
Their exhaust I bought doesn't bolt up and they offered me a refund as long as I paid for shipping but I'll let you guess how much shipping is, I'll just say that its cheaper to fix it than it is to ship.

Z1 released a modified Tomei Expreme for our car.

I really like how the Grip V2 sounds, although I don't know if they are the same or not.

I need to correct anyone who thinks Tomei has released a exhaust for the 370z. The Z1 motorsports page even has it listed as a 350z part and they even said it requires a little bit of modification. That exhaust is designed for the 350 but fits pretty well for the 370. Personally, if you want single exit it would be a ton cheaper to go with Tomei and do some grinding vs buying Amuse.

the HFC on the ark make the VQ wheeze noise more noticable, and the DTS is quite a bit heavier than stock. But it makes good power and a very unique sound. I would say go for it.

The Exoticspeed is quiet during normal cruising, sounds great when accelerating, and makes a very nice horsepower increase. It's my first and only mod so far and I love it.

It would probably be cheaper to just go custom for the single exit. I was quoted around $500 for a full 3.5in single exit, plus no grinding.

I like the Ark grip. Looks great on the Z. Thinking of getting it.
