Been waiting for this also, I'd even dyno test it for him, Vs the M370 and Z1. Both I have tested VS one another already

Wonder if Phunk came up with a badass manifold for lets say 2,500k and only kept stock of this for group buys 10 or more, Did test on boosted and NA motors and made power. Would people be interested?

It would sell like crazy at 2500 if it looked right and performed well enough and most importantly existed and was able to be purchased
It is still in the slow cooker, I am just burned out on speculation or etc... I made a mistake really by even participating in this thread until I had something more tangible. I will make a fresh thread for it when I have something worthy in my hands. |

$2500 is pretty steep. It'd need to have gains of 20whp/trq on top of all the other bolt-ons.

Get group of serious buyers together that are willing to spend the money. Im sure if you make an intake manifold like the one you designed and it makes power i'm sure it will sell. You could corner a market that nobody has even touched yet.

no worse than spending 4k on a titanium exhaust for less hp. 2,500 bucks isn't bad at all. If you're the type who just buys parts because they look cool and give you some ample hp with tuning then yes its not worth it. If you're the type who buys parts with a build in mind knowing this part will be beneficial towards your build then the price isn't bad. If he did build the mani especially for boosted crowd and it made awesome power under the curve with less boost, it would sell faster then $1 bang session with megan fox.

Yeah, for boosted applications, but we were talking about NA.

Yes, just like phunk stated earlier in the thread you will have to spin the motor to make the power needed. Only one person has took the effort to make VHR motor to handle high revs and he made more power for NA then anyone on here. He had a mani jun cam and shortie headers. Looking at his dyno the power was still climbing at 8,200 rpms.

The majority of the crowd here isn't willing to buy a dry sump and new crank to spin the motor. No company is producing a wet sump solution to support higher revs. Plus after 8k the vibrations will cause our crank to fail prematurely.
