GTHaus + F.I. LTH?

Anybody run this setup yet? Videos? Thanx. :tiphat:

Tempestz 01-12-2014 11:06 PM

This setup would be absolutely ear shattering… interested to see if anyone has it… GTHaus with stock manifolds and cats is already 110+Dbs…

:iagree: +1...... NYBladeZ ran this exact set up and he said it was effen loud.

The link below is my car on the dyno and I have the GTHAUS FCB along with the FI Resonated High Flow Cats (plus other mods listed below), so this will give you an idea of the sound. Now if I was to swap out the FI RHFC to go the FI LTH, then I would assume the sound would be A LOT LOUDER. I do not know how much louder it would be, but it would be CRAZY EFFEN LOUD.

How much hp u making?

MacLean 01-29-2014 07:48 AM

I’m pushing 298 whp & 248 wtq and this is from a Mustang Dyno which reads low, and is known to be a huge heartbreaker/disappointment. There are a lot more variables to take into account with a Mustang Dyno versus a Dyno Jet. If I was on a Dyno Jet, I would assume maybe 340 whp give or take 2-5 whp (this is assuming during cold weather & not 90 or 100 + weather).

Nice! It sounds incredible.

johncy2000 01-30-2014 03:02 AM

What do you think of going Berk HFC instead of RHFC? I dont know how much louder it can get. lol

MacLean 01-30-2014 12:37 PM

I heard the combo with the GTHAUS & F. I. HFC's sounds better than the combo of GTHAUS & Berk HFC's. I would think the F. I. Non-resonated HFC's might be a little bit louder than the RHFC's.

FLUJOKE 02-07-2014 04:39 PM

:D......moohahahahahhahahahhahahhahahahahaha, Tony get's it!

diego@vossen 02-21-2014 04:01 PM

Currently I have Gen 3's/Fast Intentions RHFC's/GTHAUS full CBE and no tune. I am planning to add Z1 headers at least after the Stillen SC goes in next month :) LTH would be INSANE!!! My setup in person even put a smile on my face and I said DAMN!!! Videos don't do it justice.

Nice.......very nice. I absolutely agree that videos do not do any justice on how the vehicle sounds. Diego, I know we spoke a couple times about the F.I. LTHs and a lot of people are very curious on how the set up would actually sound. Getting the F.I. LTHs has been crossing my mind a lot, but not sure it is worth/wanting to spending almost $2k or more ($1,350 for LTHs & $600 for install) to get it. If you want to ceramic coat the LTHs, then you need to add $365. Then you're looking at about a four month wait too. The F.I. wait is always worth it.

NYBladeZ once told me that the GTHaus + F.I. LTH "Simply said, it is the type of sound that caused many people to follow me for miles just to compliment how nice it was. It is also, and I'm really not exaggerating, f1 racecar loud. I never got in trouble but I was always wary of my surroundings. It was awesome I loved every second I had it but I'm pretty sure I'm in the .0000000001% who could tolerate and responsibly own such a loud car."

Riptide67 02-25-2014 12:36 AM

I just installed the FI LTH headers that are ceramic coated. I have wanted them for awhile and got them for around $800 shipped with some light use. I was quoted $390 for an install, but a friend helped me do them since he had done his own and another set. It was quite the challenging task, btw. I have them with the FI exhaust that had the 12" resonators.

I really want a GTHAUS or Amuse exhaust and may eventually get one.

My current setup is quite loud and I may even go non resonated eventually. But for now I am completely happy and it has a super sexy tone.

diego@vossen 02-25-2014 01:07 PM

Great now I want headers lol. My only debate is FI/PPE LTH with cat delete or Z1 and Keep FI RHFCS.

Sounds great! Thanks for the video. I've been waning to hear what these cats sound like resonated with my miestershaft.

MacLean 04-08-2014 07:58 AM

If you have a recording of this setup, can you please post it?

jlbrenne 04-10-2014 11:42 AM

It sounds very similar to mine. I dont know if going with LTH would be much louder. Hard to tell from the video.

I agree..... I will say this though, when I added my F. I. RFC's the cold start was a lot louder and of course as you increase in RPM's the car gets a lot louder too. I would assume the exact same for the LTH's, that the cold start would be a lot louder than the F. I. RFC's & the same for acceleration.

More videos of the GTHaus + F.I. LTH please.

jlbrenne 04-10-2014 12:54 PM

I have been thinking about taking out the resonators ....what you guys think about that??? I heard that they cut out about 15% of the sound. With them gone that 15% more...WOW right!

any cons to this?

jlbrenne 04-11-2014 06:42 AM

bump on this
