This setup would be absolutely ear shattering… interested to see if anyone has it… GTHaus with stock manifolds and cats is already 110+Dbs…

The link below is my car on the dyno and I have the GTHAUS FCB along with the FI Resonated High Flow Cats (plus other mods listed below), so this will give you an idea of the sound. Now if I was to swap out the FI RHFC to go the FI LTH, then I would assume the sound would be A LOT LOUDER. I do not know how much louder it would be, but it would be CRAZY EFFEN LOUD. I’m pushing 298 whp & 248 wtq and this is from a Mustang Dyno which reads low, and is known to be a huge heartbreaker/disappointment. There are a lot more variables to take into account with a Mustang Dyno versus a Dyno Jet. If I was on a Dyno Jet, I would assume maybe 340 whp give or take 2-5 whp (this is assuming during cold weather & not 90 or 100 + weather).

I heard the combo with the GTHAUS & F. I. HFC's sounds better than the combo of GTHAUS & Berk HFC's. I would think the F. I. Non-resonated HFC's might be a little bit louder than the RHFC's.

Currently I have Gen 3's/Fast Intentions RHFC's/GTHAUS full CBE and no tune. I am planning to add Z1 headers at least after the Stillen SC goes in next month LTH would be INSANE!!! My setup in person even put a smile on my face and I said DAMN!!! Videos don't do it justice.
Going up Strapped down Stillen Gen 3 / Fast Intentions RHFC's / Meistershaft full catback exhaust and no tune. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rHdJ9aHjf8 Woohoo Last edited by diego@vossen; 02-23-2014 at 09:03 AM. |

Nice.......very nice. I absolutely agree that videos do not do any justice on how the vehicle sounds. Diego, I know we spoke a couple times about the F.I. LTHs and a lot of people are very curious on how the set up would actually sound. Getting the F.I. LTHs has been crossing my mind a lot, but not sure it is worth/wanting to spending almost $2k or more ($1,350 for LTHs & $600 for install) to get it. If you want to ceramic coat the LTHs, then you need to add $365. Then you're looking at about a four month wait too. The F.I. wait is always worth it.
NYBladeZ once told me that the GTHaus + F.I. LTH "Simply said, it is the type of sound that caused many people to follow me for miles just to compliment how nice it was. It is also, and I'm really not exaggerating, f1 racecar loud. I never got in trouble but I was always wary of my surroundings. It was awesome I loved every second I had it but I'm pretty sure I'm in the .0000000001% who could tolerate and responsibly own such a loud car."

I just installed the FI LTH headers that are ceramic coated. I have wanted them for awhile and got them for around $800 shipped with some light use. I was quoted $390 for an install, but a friend helped me do them since he had done his own and another set. It was quite the challenging task, btw. I have them with the FI exhaust that had the 12" resonators.
I really want a GTHAUS or Amuse exhaust and may eventually get one. My current setup is quite loud and I may even go non resonated eventually. But for now I am completely happy and it has a super sexy tone.
