I know that in the VQ35 community - a very cheap and effective mod was adding a 5/16'' plenum spacer from companies like motordyne etc etc... how come the G37s

Ok - So howcome there are no spacer talks for the Z?
I know that in the VQ35 community - a very cheap and effective mod was adding a 5/16'' plenum spacer from companies like motordyne etc etc... how come the G37s and 370zs have no mention of this sort of mod? I am assuming our VQ37 engines also have an upper and lower plenum.
Also - I havnt seen anyone make replacement plenums for the Z / Gs ... what gives? |

I believe that the 350z had more restriction in their intake plenums. They fixed that issue with the VQ37, so a spacer is now ineffective.

I think that has yet to be seen. It's possible, but it definitely isn't going to be a cheap and easy mod for quick HP for the VQ37

If I am not mistake, I believe the plenum on the VQ37 is a single piece now bonded with an adhesive... I believe I saw an image from Forged when they dismantled a VQ35HR and documented the changes from the DE series.
