See if its magnetic, that will answer that. And yes, a brace is a good idea for any of these long J tube O2 things! And I just reread and "he" drilled the hole. Interesting. A tune would delete the code anyways so no need to drill it out if you get one. Actually you just need to buy the license for like $180 and have a tuner turn the code off if you can't afford a tune right now.

I have Ver 1 ART pipes and those things are high quality. I also have a Gen 1 FI exhaust and that thing is high quality.

Sorry for your misfortune.

Update: so yesterday the left side o2 bong popped off. the previous time was the right side. had my mechanic weld it back on. this is the 4th time, iirc, that this pos has cracked on me, and costing more money fixing it than it's worth. really disgraceful for a company. i'm about to look up other pipes.

I had one of my motordyne art pipes crack on one of the welds pretty bad. They also had less than 1000 miles

Full exhaust and low sports cars in NYC has to be expensive. I have not lived in that type of climate for 10 years. I have forgotten what real rust looks like.

My ART pipes are going strong at 1100 miles.. latest revision.

Did you try talking with Motordyne? What do they have to say about your misfortune?

Looks like you're driving it in winter over salt in NYC. No wonder they are so beat up.

I have over 25K on my Motordyne exhaust, still polishes up like the day I bought it. Welds are good to. Have you contacted them about replacements or warranty? I think theres a 1 year warranty on the welds.

I also have always had Motordyne products on my Z and they have been nothing but the best.

^Same with me, my MD exhaust is amazing and has stood up to everything and anything I throw at it.

Sorry about these issues but I recommend contacting Tony as he will be more than helpful to get this sorted out.

Did you purchase these new from him?
