Fast Intentions exhaust with resonated HFC's
 

So I just got my Fast Intention non resonated cbe and I absolutely love it! I'm actually going to be creating a review thread pretty soon. Anyways, contrary to what many people think, it's kind of tame for me now. I was wondering if anyone had the non-res cbe and has res HFCs could tell me what they think. Is there drone? Rasp? How loud is it? Should I get it non-res? I also have g3 intakes and plan on getting a tune after the HFCs.

Also am i going to be losing any low end power or torque?

you're not going to be losing power. don't worry about that.

This is FPenvy's car. He's got headers and it is loud. I have the R HFC and the NR CBE on CF. Sounds good to me. It is plenty enough loud for me to enjoy and have fun with. No rasp. Drone just under 3k. You need to get used to it. I have ear plugs available as a courtesy to my passengers who are not used to it. My wife can tell if I am having fun with it around the neighborhood. There is a stretch of road in the hills behind us and she can tell if it was me doing a nice WOT drive by. I recall one driver get next to me after going through a tunnel signaling with his finger on his lips trying to "shush" me. I gassed up even more and gave him a :tup:

I know dude it sounds just too sexy its making me thing twice on replacing my NR test pipes but meh hissing and gains are pretty good to make a change lol IT IS Frustrating though because I can't it not even on Youtube

Is this drone pretty bad or something id get used to after a little bit? Hows highway driving for you?

For me it is bearable. Not bad at all and so used to it. If you are concerned about it, get the 18" resonated CBE and resonated HFC, it would still sound awesome. Have you connected with anyone who has any type of FI exhaust just to see, ride, and listen? Don't rely on video clips if you have these concerns.
I you're in Santa Ana, Ca go to the Cerritos meet first Sat of the month in November. I"ll be there and let you take a ride and listen so you can decide.

I actually already have the non res FI exhaust! I love it I just now think it's a little too quiet for my taste. Im just concerned with drone because I travel up and down to LA a lot and don't want it to become a problem that I may not like. Also how is the cabin noise? Can you have conversations with people without having any trouble? I will definitely be there at he Cerritos meet though! I will definitely take you up on that offer! :)

I had the chance to hear 1cleanZ's Nismo a bit ago. He has the same (res HFC w/non-res catbat). It sounded amazing. Little louder than my Stillen which is a bit louder than stock. For me it was right on the limit of volume. And soooo deep. My god.
