You're not looking into it correctly. First, the tires mounted and balanced cost more than that, then there are the TPMS sensors which are $450, most 1 piece Volks go for around $3500. They are worth it to most.

very true if the OP is after spanking new parts.
the car is still relatively new so used parts might be a little scarce.
wheels would be easy to find used though... and due to the economic predicament that we are in, most sellers are more than willing to negotiate.
