A good friend owns his own shop, with all the trimmings.. hoist, dyno, machine shop..etc. He completed the install and tune himself, and it still cost almost double your expected budget..

So gl with that..

Well, I'm definitely not going to argue with someone that owns/works at a major company like Forged Performance. I'm also one to admit when I may be wrong or am wrong. I'll believe you if you say it can't be done. I still think that depending upon what you want your applications for, it may be worth it.

Can't wait I LOVE dealing with these cars. Let me know if there is anything else you need!

Don't get me wrong, if you are a capable mechanic you can do the install yourself, although I do not recommend it. However, with the list price of this kit being about 9K, you are not taking into consideration the other parts that you really do need for this built. Even though GTM labels the car as a turnkey kit, there are several parts they do not include that are needed to run this kit when you are coming from a stock 370z. The main part that stands out to me is the twin plate clutch you will need to buy that usually will run you 2K. The stock clutch is not capable of holding up to the power levels of a TT setup. Ontop of that there are several additional parts that are needed to run this setup. Just in the cost of parts alone it gets very expensive. With that said, it can be done for less than 20k. If you are a DIY I would say you can get it done for well below 20k. Let me know if you have any questions, I am always happy to help

Well, I have the ability to do everything myself. That being said, I'll be a man, admit that I was wrong and say with a guess that I could probably do it for around 12k. Which is still a far cry from 20k

See that list of blue items in my sig? Plus labor.....I've cracked 13K already.....heading into the unknown world of 14K in due time!

Yes, I'm sick in the head....I already know this! Wheels & tires account for a great majority of this but I love 'em!

Hey man, it's not about being wrong or right. I just want everyone to know what they are getting themselves into should they choose to go TT. In either case it is not a cheap way to go, but it sure is fun

I know man, but too many guys would have just sat here and tried to argue with you or they would have just hung their head in shame and not replied at all. That's not me.

Anyway back on track here....

Thanks! Actually had a guy in a fully modded, fully sponsored 350 back up and tell me he liked MY car! And here I was seeing his car thinking WOW! his car looks awesome!

To have him do that was really cool! He specifically said:

Im really feeling the aggressive stance and the rims and tires!

Props to you, Ryan!

Haha, nice man. Your car definitely turns heads.

You're the one who said you wanted the most BA set of wheels available.

I'm just glad you liked my suggestion

^ Agreed! Its all about the balance, class and thought that make a car come together, not about the extra few whp. If its a race car, build one... if its a car you drive on the street, enjoy it because that is what its all about. Once you get sick of driving it, part it out... strip it out, build the motor and TT that beast and itll be new love all over again.

my opinion.

First of all I want to personally thank Jerkey for putting his a$$ out there on the line for all of us! I hope you come back in one piece. I have lost a life long friend over there in that f**king s**t hole god forsaken place!

Anyway, back on topic;

For 5K, put a nice stereo system in the car, you wont regret it.

Cold air intake and a CB exhaust for power ups. If you dont mind it loud add some HFC's in there as well as they will increase the power big time.

I went with Stillen because they gave me a huge discount when I bought everything from them plus my dealership trusts Stillen and they honored my warranty and installed all my parts.

You do realize that paying 5k for wheels + tires is silly? No one ever pays that much... RE11s are what 1200 for all 4s at most... so you paid 3800 for wheels? OUCH man... those better have been custom offsets... lol
