I was thinking about welding in hfc into my y pipe? Whatdu guys think about that? Kindve like the xyz pipe from motordyne.

That'd work fine. I wouldn't want to loose power though and cats cost a lot. Resonators will delete rasp, some noise, and won't hurt power and cost next to nothing.
