Least rasp, deepest CBE paired with PPE LTH?
I just installed my ppe headers and I already had the stillen CBE system on. The final outcome is great when it comes to power but the sound on the other hand is a little to raspy for me. I'm wondering if any of you guys out there that have ppe Lth can possibly give me some suggestions on which way to go to get rid of the rasp? If it need be a whole new CBE so be it or maybe a resonated y pipe? I'm not sure but any sound clips of what you guys have paired on your z's or anything like that would be awesome!! Thank you for your time and for any help you can give me.

Maybe a FI exhaust with 18" resonators. I'm sure someone has that setup

I use the Motordgne XYZ Y pipe with my PPE's. I also have a HFC and resonator module to use with the Y pipe. With the Tanabe exhaust and hfc installed, there is no rasp once warmed up. There is a hint when the pipes are cold. I just posted videos earlier today in my journal. My last couple posts were vids. Yours of course won't sound 100% like mine but it should be a good idea.

I believe it should. When you buy the Motordgne XYZ Y pipe, you have the option to purchase a resonated, catted or straight pipe piece. Each will be priced relative to the option you pick.

They're an American company selling china parts. They work but before I tell someone to install something I'm going to let them know the origin of manufacture. If they're good enough for FI then I'm sure they're good enough for the OP. But if they fail, rust, whatever, I don't want them blaming the Americans...blame the cheap china steel that doesn't have the exact same metallurgy as USA.

That'd work fine. I wouldn't want to loose power though and cats cost a lot. Resonators will delete rasp, some noise, and won't hurt power and cost next to nothing.

Motordyne measured the power loss of the HFC to the resonators at 2-3 whp. I haven't seen the dyno differences. I would measure the diff with mine but superharging changes things. The HFC is notably more expensive like Syno said. Well you have the option to DIY or BUY
