Mine doesn't rasp with with a HFC at the Y pipe. (It does with cold exhaust pipes). Some guys don't want to cut into their exhaust. I advised another guy to add a resonated Y pipe and that worked well for him. The E370 has a resonated X chamber and doesn't rasp, which makes sense. Glad the combo works cor the OP and I want to hear a vid ;)

i dont really look into killing rasp on this car too much since i love the way rasp sounds, and the only other car i did modify is my eclipse, which doesnt rasp since its turbo(or if it does, i dont hear it over turbo spool sounds)

I'm hoping not...

The vids of Firehawk's set up sounded great, but I'm not sure whether that was before or after the HFC was included.

I had this exact setup for over a year.

You will be able to detect the decel hiss.

There won't be any rasp or any other unpleasant sounds. It sounds almost factory.

Hmm. Interesting. So a bit of hiss but no real rasp. This was with OEM H-pipe?

On my previous Z, I tried a bigger diameter Y pipe and the hiss drove me crazy. Got rid of it in under a week.

Hopefully, it won't be quite as bad :icon14:

Yes, factory H pipe.

The hiss will be there, I did not find it to be bothersome, even when the car was still being street driven regularly. It isn't super loud like with an aftermarket exhaust + LTH.

But that hiss will be basically the only hint to bystanders that there's anything non-stock about the exhaust. That Nismo system is pretty damned quiet while still making very respectable power.
