GTM Spec 3" CB Quad Tip Exhaust?

Hey dudes of the Z forum, It's been a while since I've visited the forum since first creating my account, and I've got a bit of a question in regards to the above-mentioned exhaust system.

Considering I'm a bit of a noob to the processes of the sort, could anybody do me solid and help to explain the process to me? Is it a simple cut of the bumper to fit the quad tips?
