Greddy TI-C to Fast Intentions catback
Hey there!
I just bought my Z recently and it came with a TI-C Greddy catback. I don't particularly like it so I made a few search here on the forum and decide to go for the Fast Intention instead. My problem is that I sold the Greddy catback while it's still on the car at the moment and I will order the new one only this week. So I need to remove the catback and wait for the new one to arrive. The guy who bought the catback want to have off course all he needs to install it so he told me he need the evap relocation kit and an exhaust shield. I want to give him all he needs but I also want to be sure I won't give away things that I will need for the fast intentions install. Is there any OEM part that I must be careful to keep when removing the Greddy ? Or is there and OEM part that might have been removed when the Greddy was install that I would need to check to be sure I'm ok for the FI ? Thanks a lot guys ! |
When I installed my F.I. TDX, I just used the heat wrap to protect the Evap line and removed the stupid shield that was hanging down on the passenger side. Not sure what the TiC comes with, but I am sure that you can get what you need from one of the forum sponsors OR another forum member that has swapped out the stock exhaust.

Great choice going with Fast Intentions , but you do know there is a waiting period, > a month (not sure what the current wait times are, Contact Tony @ F.I) Not familiar with the Greddy, but you might look for install instructions as a guide of what is needed. The F.I. does not require any special hardare & you actually remove the evap shield up to a certain year (beyond do not have it) so it should not be a problem

It will be worth the wait, but being as you just sold your exhaust out from under your car you might be a little bit of a problem. Tony is a great guy. His products & customer care are second to none.

I know I need to get back to you with the final price quote. I will get it over to you shortly. As for what you will need. Put your "Evap Canister" back in it's stock location. You will not need the black cover for it though. I will then supply you with everything else you will need with the exhaust system. Thanks, Tony |
Tony, OP seems to have a 2013 and the 2013 apparently does not have the Evap Canister cover.
