Berk RTP's on OEM NISMO exhaust

Hey guys just thought I'd post a video of my new setup. I know it helps out to hear sound clips when people are trying to decide on exhaust mods.

Default Berk RTP's on OEM NISMO exhaust

Hey guys just thought I'd post a video of my new setup. I know it helps out to hear sound clips when people are trying to decide on exhaust mods. I just got my new BERK RTP's installed onto my OEM NISMO exhaust yesterday...sounds pretty good IMO i'd like it to be louder but thats where a cat back comes in. Its a good bit louder and deeper than stock cats though. The big thing for me is NO CEL!!!! ...the rev goes up to the 5000 rpm limiter. the video is from under the muffler.

anyways here it is

That sounds pretty good. Thanks for sharing. I noticed you mentioned HKS is one of your option from the other thread. I have the HKS with the stock cats. I love the tone. Very unique and exotic. But it's not any louder then the Nismo exhaust. Just a heads up... Not sure how it sounds with the HFCs or test pipes. Maybe you can keep me updated if you end up with the hi-power? I heard it's gonna be loud.

The noise you hear in a video with the microphone right under the exhaust is the sound that the vibration of the exhaust tubes itself makes. You can hear it inside the car and from a very short distance away from the car (ie, standing next to it) but you cannot hear it AT ALL from a distance. It doesn't "project" any sound out of the exhaust opening proper. I have videos of me with the Nismo exhaust + long tube headers (no cats) ripping down a straight @ ~125MPH and you can't hear the exhaust at all. Zero noise. lol Inside the car was a different story.

Glad you like how it sounds on the inside of the car, though.

Thx forza ill keep u posted with what i decide to go with. Id love to have that sound based on this vid...

http://m.youtube.com/watchv=Gg6JHu1B...%3DGg6JHu1B2b0

...but for the price and im not cheap but ive seen just as good if not better dyno sheets from way less expensive exhausts and seeing as i already have test pipes im not gonna gain much from any exhaust. I also like the agency power exhaust and i got quoted at below 800 shipped...looks good sounds good y not? Just wish i could find a good deal on the hi power set up.

I hear ya. Actually any exhaust will give you minimum hp gain on our car. So choose the one sounds the best to you. In any case, keep us posted and good luck finding a good deal.

Forza i stumbled on a guy going turbo and he had a hks exhaust we hot to talking and hes giving me the most amazing deal ever on his current hks. Im so stoked i thought i was gonna have to dish out 2000 for a new one but this is so much better. Thought about other exhausts for a little while but i didnt want to settle cuz imo its the best most exotic sounding exhaust for the 370z...anyways i should have it installed in the next couple weeks so ill give u a full review of the sound tone and level it produces with my rtp's. im so antsy to get it hooked up!
