Quieting my exhaust help

Hey guys. looking for opinions
i have PPE LTH with the AAM midpipe and short tails, my start up sounds perfect only issue is once i go above 3k RPMs, it gets insanely loud and raspy almost sounds like a rotary. easily one of the loudest setups ive ever had and heard. how can i go about making it less noisy? a shorti header combo with resonated test pipes? or is there some other way?

How about ANY real cat back? Short Tails have no mufflers... at all.

I have the FI non-resonated CBE with the same headers and I couldn't imagine driving anything louder on the street.

best way is to get an OEM styler muffler instead of the short tails that deleted the muffler. Next option is shorty headers with HFCs. Not test pipes of any sort or it'll be similar to the LTH. Resonated will get rid of the rasp though. You also have the option of OEM cats with shorties and that'll fix your problem, no questions asked but now you have the biggest bottle neck of our system back.

Gasex?

Put a turbo on it. It will make it quiet, a little.

I would remove the short tails and put your Nismo muffler back on, that should do it and you may even get some gains in torque as well!

I warned ya Tyler! haha hopefully we'll be releasing our muffled axle back system sooner than later

Get ear plugs. It will reduce the noise while still sound sick. Best bang for the buck!

What the other guys are saying... take the short tails off and throw the stock muffler back on.

It'll still sound good, just a lot more conservative.
